IN 2007, THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE HARTMAN INSTITUTE WILL BE HELD IN KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE FROM OCTOBER 11-13. THE PROGRAM FOR THE 2007 MEETING WILL BE POSTED HERE IN LATE AUGUST OR EARLY SEPTEMBER, 2007.
WHERE TO STAY FOR OUR FALL MEETING
We have set October 11-13, 2007, as the dates for our fall Annual Conference here in Knoxville, TN. It will be on the campus of the University of Tennessee, as usual.
Please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible. The first hotel below is a new hotel very near the edge of the UT Campus, and most of our people will be staying there. For most people, it is in walking distance of McClung Tower where our meetings will be held. All of the following websites will give you access to maps showing their location and relation to the University of Tennessee campus. If you don't get U.T. at first, zoom out a bit.

The Cumberland House Hotel will give us special rates for our conference. Be sure to tell them you are with the Hartman Institute when you make your reservation. You will find the Cumberland House to be quiet, comfortable, and convenient. Here are their rates: $130.00 per night for on single or double occupancy for a standard room with two queen-size beds or one king bed; $145.00 per night for three and $160.00 per night for four persons per room). Parking fees are not included in this rate. These rooms and rates will be available until Sept. 14, 2007, but no later than that.

The Hilton (above) will also give us a special rate. Each individual will be responsible for his or her own reservation. Please make sure your attendees identify the group code RHI to receive the special group rate of $109.00 per night ($119.00 King), and to make their reservation prior to the Sept. 28. cut-off date. All reservations must be guaranteed by either a credit card or a first night’s deposit. Individual guests are free to cancel reservations up to 72 hours of the arrival date without penalty. Cancellations within 72 hours will result in . Any guest wishing to depart earlier than the original reservation departure date will incur a penalty of one night’s room and tax, also the responsibility of the individual.
