Christina Marshall is President of Totally Coached, Inc., founded in 1998 and based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Fascinated by thinking processes since childhood, Christina's early research, conducted while learning a Master's degree in Rhetoric and Communication from Temple University, was a new paradigm for understanding decision making that resulted in repeating behaviors even when experience would indicate to do something different. Propelled by a vision to make a better world by enabling people to think better about choices, Christina developed this research through 20 plus years of working with people to accomplish better results, by coaching, coach training, and developing coaching integrated professional practices - a coaching approach.
In 2000, Christina was asked to create coach training specifically for health and wellness professionals and created a brand new coach training curriculum with a singular focus: eliciting best thinking and decision making so people can create results that are important to them. In 2002, Christina provided the "how to" of her company's breakthrough coaching methodology to WELCOA, who dedicated all nine articles to it in their October 2002 workplace wellness journal, Absolute Advantage. (A free online copy can be obtained at www.totallycoached.com.)
In 2003, Christina linked her coaching methodology to Axiology, a science of thinking founded by Robert S. Hartman, further defined best thinking as an increase in intrinsic thinking, known to be weak, worldwide, and branded her coaching methodology as Intrinsic Coaching. In that same year, Christina agreed to sponsor a movement started by health and wellness professionals, the Intrinsic World Movement, dedicated to healing intractable problems in our contemporary world by enabling people to think better about choices in the context of everyday life and living. In 2005, the National Wellness Institute asked Christina to provide answers to 50 questions about health coaching from the perspective of an Intrinsic Coach™ practicing the Intrinsic Coaching™ methodology. Those answers can be found in the twenty page e-book, 50 Answers to 50 Questions about Health Coaching, available free at www.totallycoached.com/answers2questions.asp.
Christina and her company provide Intrinsic Coaching™ and Intrinsic Coach™ training, including developing cultures of Intrinsic Coaching™ and in house and outsourced Intrinsic Coach™ training capabilities, for greater health, wellness, and productivity for individuals and organizations. Christina especially supports health and wellness professionals wishing to experience better results and greater job satisfaction by keeping fees for their coach training affordable and offering CEUS. Christina's mission is to create healthier lives, healthier organizations, and a healthier world; and she plans to accomplish it with Intrinsic Coaching and Intrinsic Coach professionals.
